Deer Lakes High School juniors were recently trained in CPR and Stop-The-Bleed thanks to the excellent instruction of 2004 Deer Lakes graduate and emergency response expert Mike Kaplan.

These are essential skills that can help save lives in emergency situations when someone else may be experiencing cardiac arrest or severe bleeding. 

Training empowers students to act quickly in life-threatening situations, and their educated response increases the odds of positive outcomes once professional medical services are on the scene.
