Señor Destein and Señora Orr took students in Spanish III, IV, and AP to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall to enjoy a live performance from the Miami-based Hispanic Flamenco Ballet.

The show included songs and dances from Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Argentina. Beautiful choreography, colorful costumes, and amazing performers taught us not only music and dance, but also the culture and history of these beautiful countries. The show concluded with a student from each school dancing with the performers on stage. Congratulations to Brennan McGowan for proudly representing Deer Lakes on the international stage!
